CONFUSED PLEASE HELP:-- OCT2000, Bhanu and others please help

My H-1 was sent for renewal and on June 20 , they have asked for an
additional evidence..
  Now the confusion is after applying for renewal, MY 485 is approved
and my passport is stamped with green card..
 WHAT I NEED TO DO with H-1 process..WILL IT CREATE PROBLEMS???

Generally INS will give you a time frame to reply to the query.
If you have not responded with in the time frame, INS automatically
cancel your application.
Otherway, ask your employer to withdraw your application.
The employer can mention that they dont need H-1 tp be processed.

by the by,with your Green card nothing will happen provided
Your employer with draw 140 petition for any other reasons.

You don\'t need to worry anymore about your H1B approval. Just Ignore it or ask your employer to withdraw the application.

I recommend writing a letter to INS that you wish to abandon the H1 renewal because you were approved for GC. This shall avoid any unknown complications and also simultaneously respond to INS query.

Your message is not clear. Has your green card already been approved? Some poeple have answered assuming that your green card is approved and some have replied assuming that you are asking this question "If my green card is approved while h1b petition is pending, then what do I do?".

If your green card is approved, I would suggest that you ask your lawyer to withdraw the H1B application.

If your green card is not approved, then withdraw your H1B whenever your green card is approved.
