confused about drop box and web appointment....Do you need to use both???

If one is applying for H-1 thru the drop box facility, is there a need for a web appointment??

If yes, please elaborate why!

My wife is going back(from US to India) to get her h-1 multiple entry stamp for the first time in Delhi.

No.

But you can also make a web appointment to use the drop off box. Why because there is a web "nut" either in TTS or in the consulate office.

All drop off box applications done in person, are accepted.

I’m interested in knowing how your/your wife's experience with the consulate in Delhi turned out. Did the H-1 visa get stamped without problems, and what unique questions you faced.
