Conflicting Ansewers from CSC and FBI

My I-485 is pending with CSC since Nov 21 2002.
My case details

ND :Nov 21 2002
RFE : Mar 21 2004 (EVL,3 PAY STUBS,3 YEAR TAX RETURNS ,COM'Y TAX ETC,ETC)
2ND FP :JULY Ist.

Lawyer initiated a enquiry on Sep 2 2004 : Response from CSC

The case (& Spouse) is undergoing security checks.please allow sufficient time for processing.


I did a fax inqiury with FBI ON sept 21 2004.I got the e-mail from harvey today saying, we never received any name check for you , but your spouse results were sent on Dec 23 2002 (?????).


I am really surprised , by the contrdictory results from CSC and FBI.

I feel csc is not giving the correct answer , they are just saying for every case undergoing security check ...Bummers. :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:


Has anybody experienced similar situation , please post

Sorry to hear that. I have same situation as yours.

INS said our cases are undergoing security check but FBI responded NO name check requests have been received from USCIS for me and my spouse.
