Hello,

i am back at the fence again as my marriage is very rocky right now. I got my approval notice for 2 yr conditional GC this past december. I have been married for almost a year now with a USC. I have been trying hard to save the marriage but something new always crops up and things have gone sour between us. We knew each other for almost 7 years now and we always had compatibility issues but after marriage it has become worse. I have tried a lot from my end including marriage counseling but nothing has been working. I gave up(quit company) work permit since i filed for I-485 but now it looks like i made a mistake. From what i understand if i were to get divorce then i will have to apply for a work visa again or go back to home country. Can you please help me and guide me as to what happens in this situations and what options i have going forward. I am quite confused as can't work things out with my wife and at the same time i hate to see myself go back.
Thanks for your help.

Shut your mouth and do everything she says for two years. lol. Then do what you need to do. Remember, she's always right and when she's happy, you're happy.

After a divorce it is possible to petition for removal of conditions on your own, but you will need to be able to prove that the marriage was enter into in good faith.

triplecitizen, hate would be a strong word but reason being life takes a different turn (like starting from scratch) since ive been here for over 8 years.
