I have a conditional green card and I will be filing for the removal of conditions in the next 2 months. My conditional green card expires in the next 5 months. I want to go back to my home country to visit my family for about a month. My wife will be going with me. My question is will it make any difference if I go before the filing of removal of conditions or will it be better if I go immediately after filing for the removal of conditions.
The removal of conditions form says that I need to submit two affadavits from friends. I have heard from other people that the person signing the affadavit must have known the GC holder and the spouse before and after the marraige. My close friends who did knew me before and after the marraige have moved back to my home country. My friends who are here do know that we are married in a good faith marriage but they were not around when we were dating each other and when we got married.
My second question is will the Affadavit from these friends work?
