concurrent processing for EB3

Hello ,

I'm in the EB3 category and my priority date is 18th mar 2002 and LC has been cleared. Since the priority date currently is 1st mar 2002, would it be prudent to wait for a couple of days and make an attempt for concurrent processing ? Or should I just proceed with I-140 ?

Also can anyone tell me how to get a birth certificate in Hyderabad? I have been using my higher secondary school passing certificate as the birth certificate and haven't had any problems so far , but I guess the requirements are different for I-140/485 and i don't want to take any chances !

you can either file for I-140 now and wait for April bulletin to check if you can file 485 in April. This will give you time to collect documents for 485. If you cannot get a BC, you can get an affidavit signed by your parents.
 
BC signed by mother is preferrable to the one signed by father. I saw someone mentioned that they had an RFE to get the BC signed by mother.
 
Would it be sufficient if the affidavits(considering that each parent has to privide one) are signed just by parents or would they need any witnesses to sign as well? If witness signatures are required then who should be approached for that ?
