** Concurrent I140/485 Approval, FOIA and 485 inquiries **

i finally got my I14/485 approved on Jan 13, 2005. It was a long wait and I was very stressed out because of the uncertainties of my job. I worked on having CIS to answer if AC21 applies to concurrent cases that have been pending for 6 months. I did not have much success after about four months effort. I stopped actively mail/email/fax to senators/congresswomen and CIS around early Dec 2004.

Does anyone know of any new development of AC21 on pending I140? How about those cases who sent in AC21 letters before I140 approval in Texas and CSC? Sorry I am a little out of dated here for two months.

Please pay attention to the FOIA part because that's why my case got delayed. I think my second inquiry to I485 had triggered the process of both my overdue I140 and I485.

hate140delay, i am glad your I140 was approved. If I did not remember wrong, we were fighting for AC21 to be applied on pending I140. Well, at least your name is familiar. :)

Can you please provide me information on your Degree course, i.e. its 3 yrs or 4 yrs program? and also info on form ET750 column 14&15 requirements?

My i140 got rejected in EB2 category in CSC. Lawyer has refiled my case in EB3. I read some cases getting rejected for BS with 3 years even for EB3.

It will help me to know your education background and determine my case.

hi whorl1quote,
congratulations on your approvals!
I have one question,
what is FOIA? I searched on INS website..and found out that its immigration records request...
Why did you do FOIA request? Does it make processing faster?

Do you have more information, which you can share with me.

Thanks in Advance!

Yes, I spoke to Congresswoman Ashoo's office and Congressman Pete Stark's office, though did not get anything for AC21, however I got help for my 140 from Pete Stark's office.

Mine was a degree course 4 years. All they asked for was the degree certificate, which we had submitted before. So we just resubmitted it.
I dont have the ETA750 with me. Sorry.
