Concurrent filing wait time, passport expiring

1.I concurrent filed in November 2016 for mom in Baltimore, finished biometrics two weeks ago, the operator says March 2016 is the date until which W/L is cleared for immediate relative. Is parent in the same waiting list as other relatives in this category? How long does it take after biometrics to interview?

2. Mom is on visitor's visa, her Indian passport expiring in August. She cannot travel back to India due to age. Should I wait for GC to pursue pp renewal? Indian passports with visitors visa in the USA cannot renew in the USA. Is an expired pp accepted in a GC interview?

1. I answered you on another forum but as I said, there is no "wait", there is no "waiting list", and there are no "dates" for immediate relatives. None of those things make any sense.

2. As I said, she doesn't need a passport for AOS. If she doesn't need to leave the country, she doesn't need a passport. There may or may not be an interview, and it would almost certainly be before August. Also, she should have applied for EAD and AP for free with her AOS (if she didn't, she can apply now), and an EAD can serve as ID (and she can get a state ID based on the EAD to also serve as ID if she wants) so she shouldn't need a passport as an ID.
