Concurrent Filing of I-140 and I-485

Hi,
My company filed my I-140 through EB-1 (outstanding researcher) category. I realized that they should have filed I-485 concurrently with I-140. I have already got the receipt from USCIS for the I-140 filing. Is it possible to still do I-485 filing concurrently since it is just couple of weeks or is it too late?

Thanks

If your priority date is current, you can file 485 with or after 140. As per INS trend, I personally think it to be beneficial not to file cocurrently but right after receiving 140 receipt.

LUD Change on 2/15 & 2/16

Lud on 2/15 changed "Case trnsfered to NE."

Lud also changed on 2/16. Can some on put some light on it.
Why Lud chnaged again?.

Thanks.

I wanted to know, in general, is it advisable to do concurrent filing of I-140 and I-485. Does it harm in any way? Is it is possible to travel during the process of I-485 processing?

If your priority date is current, you can file 485 anytime with or after filing 140. Its your choice.

It does not harm to file concurrently but if you can, file 140 with priority processing and then file 485 asap after filing 140. I think this will speed up the processing.

If you have a valid visa stamp in your passport, you can always travel. If you don't have a valid stamp, get AP before travelling.

That is not true. Only H, L, V and K visas can travel with valid visa stamp while I-485 is pending. All other visas if used, this means I-485 denials. All other visas should use AP for travel.
