hi guys!!
i have finally got my labor approved :D but now have doubts regarding my concurrent filing as am losingmy job in june next year :(...............anybody has any suggestions regarding what route wld prove to be more helpful-normal route of i-140 and then i-485 or concurrent filing...
pls help
thanks amrita

The answer to this is far too critical for you to take the advice of anyone on this board. You need to speak to your attorney in detail about your options and the possible problems and advantages of each.

With concurrent filing you might get through in 8 months but who knows? Best route is to ask for a reprieve of a few months, if possible, to keep your employment and file concurrent ASAP. You'd be kicking yourself if you didn't file and it only took 8 months to clear the GC process.

As Jim said, "get a advice from attorney".

I have also updated a thread called "Important news: INS Restricts Portability Eligibility in Concurrent Filings." , check that.

It's always good to have knowledge about process/issues even if you hire a good attorney.

Hi

I have finally got my labor approved am planning to apply I140/I485. Is it possible to hold off I485 by delaying Finger prints untill i get married. or how can i hold off I-485 for some months.

Thanks,
Esskaybos1.

Still havenot received the notice though we sent I-140/485 documents 3 weeks ago

We recently sent concurrent filing applications for I140/485 3 weeks ago to CSC and still have not received the receipt notice yet. Is there any body who sent similar documents to CSC in October and got receipt notice. Just curious. Thank you in advance for your information.
