Folks, I was curious to track concurrent filers in VSC and to check
if something similar to pilot program is happening here, hence this thread.

Please share your experiences.
 
Why concurrent processing was not applied in my case

HI everybody,

I have a a question and I don't know whether anyone knows an answer for this. Let me try.

My case was applied (I-140/485/EAD/AP- RIR - EB3 - VSC) in one package in July 2004. First my EAD, AP was approved and last week my I140 also was approved. (I was thinking, they may not touch the I140 for months until 485 is ready to approve) So, they decided not to process my case under the concurrent method. I wonder why?

Do any of you know what could have been the reason for this? I am just trying to understand the (mystery) process(???).

There is no rule by which they process. By the way I've seen many fast 140 approvals. I know somebody whose 140 was approved in 10 days. Go figure.
 
How to get apply dates...

Hi All,

My Labor got approved in the last week of Sept. and just yesterday I sent all my documents for concurrent filing for I-140 & I-485 at Vermont Center. My company folks have forwarded the documents to the Attorney who is planning to file by the end of the week.

My question to you all is how do you get the dates of receipt and Notice? does the attorney/company send it to you? In one of the discussion I read that you could create a profile in the dol site.. and track your status could you please gurus help me...

Finally what is 'LUD' I see this being used quite often.

I figured that most of us are trying to track the progress at VSC for concurrent filing . Every bit counts, so here is my info. Special thanks to fast_gc_seeker for initiating this thread.

I-140/I-1485/EAD/AP -ND 09/XX/04.-
I-140 -AD ??
I-485 -AD ??

when ur 140/485 is filed ur employer may provide u its receipt #.
u can track its status here

LUD is last update date. Register ur case using following link once
u get receipt number and u can find LUD of ur case.

EB1 (Labor Substit)
I-140/I-485/EAD RD: 08/24/04
EAD AD: 9/17/04
I-140 pending...
I-485 pending...
 
140/485 ND March, 2004

140 AD August
485 AD Waiting

Does applying for EAD/AP helps in hasting 485 approval?

No applying for EAD/AP has nothing to do with fast 495 approval.

FYI- my friend has same 485 RD as u and he is approved 2 days back.
Did u have FP1? He had FP1 on 10/01/04 and approved on 10/19/04
through VSC.

Is it advisable to ask the Customer Service for I-140 receipt number ?
Would asking bring up any adverse affect such as RFE being issued or further delaying of the case as specific enquiry might have caused a few security bells to ring.
Please advice, if someone has done a similar thing or heard any experiences.

Dear Fast_GC_Seeker thanks for your inputs...it is just a week I sent to my company folks I'll wait for couple more days and check with them for the receipt. By the way could you please let me know how long it takes to get the receipt from Vermont Center.

EAD/AP/I140/I485 - All filed together on 07/20/2004
RD: 07/26/2004
ND: 07/29/2004
EAD/AP - RFE on photos
LUD on EAD/AP: 10/21/2004 - "Response received etc."
LUD on EAD/AP: 10/26/2004 - "Same message as before"
I140 AD: 10/22/2004
I485 AD: ?
 
It would help if everyone would not only post the dates, but also the category they filed under. With these speedy EB3 approvals it would be good to see if others are getting approved as well.
