My AP also got approved!
A quick question for you my friend. Is the H1 status still valid after the EAD has been approved?
Or does approval mean, EAD has been automatically activated? Any ideas?

I think, EAD is activated upon using. Your H1 is still valid if you don't use EAD. You could extend your H1 in the future even with EAD approval.

Hi All,

Looks like things are moving pretty fast and hope it continues this way.

I just got mine and my spouses AP approved. And they have mailed the copy it seems.

As far as the EAD is concerned still shows LUD as 8/22/05 with the receipt text in the message.

My EAD also got approved.

Now I think all of us are waiting for the Big one (485).

I got an update on the 485 application. The following is the message:

On August 29, 2005, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.

Hi Friends,

I got marriege on Nov 2004 and got H4 visa on december. Due to some delay, i landed in US on July 2005.
Here my issue is: My husband applied for EAD/AP/I-140/I-485 on May 2005 and he is trying to add my name for Green card processing. Now he got EAD/AP/I-140 Approvals and also got the finger prints and appered for FP in this month.
Is it possible to add me after FP?.
When will he get the I-485 approval (appx) and his PD is july 2001
If he gets the green card what is my status? Whether do i need to go back to india or i can stay here with some other visa? If so,On which visa i can stay in US?
Is it possible for him to add me even after he gets the green card? If possible how many years it will take?

Today I saw a LUD change on our I-485, but the message is still the same.
Is this normal?

Hey mate,

Yes it's normal. You will probably see another LUD in approximately 10 days with an updated message saying that the FP results have been received and processing has resumed.

By the way, did you have any LUDs before the I-140 approval? I wonder why mine's stuck...

There were NO LUD changes. There was just 1 email and LUD after the approval.
BTW my guess is that if the last 3 numbers of your EAC # are in the 400's then it might take a couple of weeks before you hear anything.
The reason for saying this is the last 3 digits for my wife's EAC nos. are in the 400's and she still has not recd. approvals for her EAD and AP even though we had filed together!
Dont lose hope, your case will soon get approved, good luck.

That seems a little odd. Did you consult with your lawyer?
Also, my experience has been that if you make someone from the HR Dept. or ur lawyer call USCIS, then things start moving a bit faster.

Try doing that if you can.

One Question,

My EAD was approved on 8/29/05. I still dont have the card ordered message. Can you folks please post how much time it took for the status to change to Card Ordered and if you received the approval letter and card also please post the time taken.

In my case, there was a LUD about card mailed in 2 days. This happened after the 1st LUD about the EAD approval.
