Concerns about financial support

Thanks Jackolantern - thanks for clarifying. I feel much better about the whole financial aspect. I do make more than the $18,000 amount needed for the application at my current job.

Are there any other potential pitfalls I need to watch out for?

I do have a valid EAD, however it expires in December as it is tied into my F1 student visa.

That's not a problem, because you work LEGALLY (whether it's OPT or not). And you'll get your new EAD way before December anyway, so it's not a problem. Just go ahead and use your income (considering you are making enough).

Strictly speaking, job letters are not required, and the job letter does not have to specifically say that the income will continue beyond AOS.

Except the fact that in list of evidences required for interview job letter is one of the required docs (unless already submitted).

I do agree though, that tax and paystubs for couple months would be enough until the interview at least.

OK, on the list of docs one need to bring to the interview there is one (it's on front of the interview letter and I can bet, because I got one just now ): 864 form with the following docs (unless already submitted): tax and W-2 for the most recent year, paystubs for last 2(?) months, letter of employment. I knew about it, so we submitted all these with the original package.

It's fine. Just attach tax and W-2, paystubs for last couple month and letter from your work they you work and salary. That's what we did for my sponsor.
