I went for stamping recently and submitted the I-94 from my passport (from my last trip in March 2000). My H1, however, was valid later than that (2002), but I did not include the I-94 from the H1 approval.

THe same from my spouse.

SHould I be concerned, or should I do anything now??

Please help

Did the Officer who stamped your passport not ask for I-94 on the latest H1 document. I am also in the same kind of situation. I was supposed to go for my stamping 3 days back and I do not have the I-94 from my H1 extension. I have the I-94 that is attached to my passport when I entered US. So I was little hesitant to go for the stamping, assuming that the INS clerk would ask for all the available I-94's. So do you think I could still go for the stamping without the latest I-94

newjersey, the officer just took the one in the passport

they did not even look at it in detail.

So my guess is that you should be fine - nothing to worry about as far as stamping goes.

My big question was
given that my passport is already stamped, will they cause any problems when they check this (along with I-89, photos etc.)before issuing the plastic card.

Still Looking for answers...

I do not think BCIS needs I-94 for stamping, I went for stamping on Jume 10'03 , the lady did not ask for I-94, just took pp, photo and approval letter !!

For kids cases, they never collect the I-94 as they send direct GC card without going for stamping

Bottom line is once stamping is done, that's is there is nothing to worry regarding I-94 or related things !!

Enjoy & have fun !!:) :)

I guess once ur paasport is stamped its the END !!!! so i dont see why u should worry
i got my PP stamped yesterday. The officer was not even bothered about what documents i submitted. She just blindly took whatever i gave her. I'm sure she would have even accepted my old expired EAD card without checking the dates on it .
My advice to anyone going to newark for PP stamping is to go a little late as there is less rush .The whole process took me just about an hour.
