computerised labor processing ??

Hi,
I heard from a couple of people that INS is building a DB which will be used for processing labor certs for GC and they expect to approve LC in 4-5 weeks once that system comes in practice.. does anyone know anything about this? please post any info/links you may have about it..

Just wondering why INS would process LC? Isn't that DOL's job?
You better be little skeptical about your sources....
 
I think you are refering to PERM process, which is scheduled to start in July 2003. Search on the net or on this forum or any immigration site, you will find info about it.
