Complete Strange issue, gurus need ur help

Hello all Gurus,

My issues very strange, I dont know how to explain.
Last friday that is Nov 3 06, I able to see all my cases including I485 too on case list. Now my I485 was missing on the list and I tryed to add the number again, why I am trying to do, its giving very strange messagae called

"Attempt to add a receipt number does not exist, check your receipt number"

Last friday it was there now, its gone... even onlice status check giving the same error since sunday....

I called my lawyer she told me , may be its web site issue.. ok if its web site issue all registered case should be gone right but not only I485 was missing.

I have no idea what was issue and do I need to call service center... or wait another 2 days...

hss_MD,

The USCIS system has had some problems lately. Do not worry to much. Your case will show up in the system again shortly.

My wife's I-485 reciept number is also doing the same thing, its missing from the list and also i cannot add. It says invalid reciept number.
Do you think they might have transferred to local office or its a system error.

What should i do? Any inputs are appreciated.

I just discovered that I too have a similar issue. Suddenly I am not able to find status of my case. I am continously getting the message that case number is invalid. I was able to see the status for past last 2 years.

Did you have your problem fixed or is it still showing invalid case ?

Did you do anything to get it fixed ?

Hello Friend,

Since 10/28/06 I am getting same message, I took info pass appt, the officer couldnt find the problem, till today as it is no change. First week I will try again. If I have any thing I will post here.
 
Dont get panic Buddy ( I know we can't stop worrying about it).

update

Thank for info. I talked to officer on phone today and according to him, everything is fine. It's computer glitch, dont know when it will be fixed. :mad:

My wife's receipt number is still not showing in the system,but she did call customer service and they said everything is fine. Not sure when it will again show in the system. Mine is fine no problem.
