Complete FP dates for those with ND 12/00 awaiting approval

I am planning on saying: "I did my FP 3 weeks ago and wanted to make sure you received them. BTW, what\'s the status of my case".

If all of us manage to get through and put together all the snippets of info we get, we should be able to figure out (hopefully !!) what is going on .

So keep trying Proactive and anyone else who wants to try. I will keep re-dialing as well.

ND: 12/08/2000 (WAC-01-047-xxxxx)
FP: 02/27/2001 (scheduled for & done on this day)
(case: EB2, RIR , India, PD: 04/99)

Still waiting 8 weeks after FP. FP was cleared by
FBI the next day, and ~ 2 weeks ago (which was the
first call to CSC, today was 2nd) it was confirmed
that CSC had the FP\'s & the case was ready for
adjuciation.

My spouse (primary applicant) called today & got a
really good IIO. System was down apparently. But IIO
said she would follow up - mentioned something about
taking a printout, and even giving a call back if
needed! (The last part sounds too good to be true).

p.s. Our WAC# has been \'current\' since 03/16 according to
CSC JIT, and our file should have been ready at that time
also.

Hey guys give it a try. Anything is possible. I kept pushing redail & finally got in the cue. I kept the speaker phone open to hear when they answered. It looks like a lot of applications are flooding in due to Priorty dates becoming current. It will probably be the same next month. Maybe I should have done CPIV!!!

My details are:

Priority Date: May 1998
    EB2
Receipt Date for I485: August 2000
    FingerPrinting Date: Feb 2001

I was looking forward to my I485 approval. But, I just spoke with my lawyer. He tells me that there is no co-relation between the fact the I have had my fingerprinting done and that I should get my I485 approval. He says that often people have to get their fingerprinting in the second time after 15 months as their I485 is still not approved by then. Is my lawyer correct or a pessimist?
Do le me know folks.
Thanks

Mick....right now I need to hold on to my job :)

Sal, I think your lawyer is right about having to do FP again after a period of time.

But I don\'t know why ur case is taking so long.....

Dimpu:

That is not my question. My question is that is it true that one should get his/her I485 approval 2-3 months after FP? According to my lawyer, that is not true. He says that people have often had to wait a couple of years after FP before they got their I485 approved.

Thanks

Hey Guys,

I called and got through to the 949 number but looks like business hours are over ??? Message says to call back during business hours to talk to an IIO.

I am in California. It is about 4 p.m here.

What time does INS close ??

Sal,

The current trend is that cases are being approved within a month or two of FP dates.

I am not sure why there is a delay in ur case.

Dimpu:

INS functions from 9AM to 3:30 PM. Also, they closed down at around 2PM today, apparently for some emergency.

thanks,
SAL

Nope, one of those crazy/regular days in the office. I will stay home tomorrow morning, I should be able to get through until noon (based on the experience of other people on the list).

[ but only if the approval is not in the mail ;-) ]

Take care.

dimpu, proactive,

if you still use old way (modem) to connect to internet, you can use a function in program/accessaries/dialup to let your computer redial for you. credit goes to Kelvin.
