hi, guys, i told u i called IIO many times, it obviously didn\'t affact my case in a negative way. i don\'t think there would be any problem if u just call to check your cases.
Does the list for ND and FP look like inverting each other? I think the approval is based on scheduled FP date and normally takes a month to a month and half.
I felt it was ironical. Mick is right, there is really no clear pattern or consistencies.
I am beginning to think based on a posting in another discussion thread that those who appy for EAD get their FP notice much earlier than those who don\'t. What do you guys think ??
Good point. I think 245 has impact, especially when we are approaching 5/1. Besides, 2 approvals per day is not that bad. There are only 16 Dec ND and 20 Jan ND in ciba\'s tracking list. Even with 80% reporting rate, it will only takes 14 days to get you all approved
Looks like CSC is operating on a LIFO algorithm based on your list. Think about it, it is quite convenient, isn\'t? Just file the application on the top and process it from the top as well.
80% reporting rate is way too high. I\'d be happy if our tracking
list represents 10% of the actually cases.
Also two approvals a day? There are reportedly more than 20 officers
working on I-485. They should produce something like 40 approvals
a day if they work hard, which they don\'t!
Good question, Dimpu, but I don\'t know the answer. Perhaps
someone can study tracking weekly archieved in the webpage
to see whether it\'s slow, fast, or normal.
I started to call the AVM number, I assume live persons are available during business hours. I will keep the list posted on any progress. I may be able to make 100 attempts today (may not get through).
I have prepared my WAC and A numbers. What else could they ask for? I do not have the receipt with me.
Called & spoke to IIO today for the first time. She was polite but completely useless. Couldn\'t tell me anything except they were processing Dec/00 files. Couldn\'t even check if FP\'s were in the system! It\'s the same number as AVM, just have to wait forever.
SO you actually got through !!!
I have been trying as well but just didn\'t get through...busy..busy..busy...
What reason did you give for calling ?? I was going to take the stand that "this is the first time I am calling and I am doing so b\'cos I am seeing people with ND 01/01 getting approved. I filed in 12/00 and was wondering about the status of my case "
Sounds good ?? Do u think I will have any better luck than you Mick ??
