Company transfer after getting visa?

Hi gurus,

I filed my new H1B (visa to be issued in India) thro' two companies A and B and got all the documents required for from both the companies.

Question:
1. Can I get my visa stamped thro' company A and join company B directly after coming to US of A? is it possible?
2. My start date would be October 1 2005. Is it possible for me to come atleast 2 weeks before October 1st 2005 and get adjusted with US weather??

Since you are getting both H1 new (not inter related means no reference of company A to B or B to A), whatever the stamping (Comp A or B) you are getting on your PP, you can only work for them.

To go to comp B, you have to file again a transfer petition while you are in US
