Company name change

I work on H1 visa stamp valid till Jun302003. My company, however is going to change its corporate name from OldName, Inc. to NewName, Inc.

Does it affect my working status? Do I need fresh new I129 filing ?

No need to file for H1 again. An amendment might be required based on the mode of transfer of H1 employees from old company to new company (i.e. is this a buy out or a simple name change).
