Company Name Change - Talked to IIO

Talked to a nice IIO this morning (7/10 8:15 AM). She told me that the case is with officer and being reviewed.
A decision should be made in 3-4 weeks.

PD: 8/96 (EB3 - India)
RD: 9/99
ND: 10/99
RFE: 4/01 (for emploment letter and pay-stubs)

Company name changed after 485 was filed. Case was on hold after RFE due to company name change.

So the wait continues...

I have a similar situation like yours.

My company filed for I-140 as XYZ Corp and
now they have renamed as ABC Corp.

Does your lawyer also recommends an amended I-140?
Or Do I need to file for a new I-140?

These IIO\'s do not seem interested in adjudicating cases from \'96 it seems. Must be lots of work so everybody is just letting these cases stagnate. I am also of the \'96 batch and our applications just do not seem to be getting the attention they deserve.

How long did it take you to get through to the IIO? I dialed for about 45 minutes just now, but was not able to get through. Actually, I was never able to talk to an IIO. And I do have an important question to ask. Thanks!
