Company Name Change Please help

My company is planning to change name. It is not murger but simply name change. My I 485 was filed in sept 2001 so expecting in 2 months.

Do we have to notify INS about the name change of the company.

Please help

it seems INS doesnt even care...i been through 5 company name chanages in 5 years...because of mergers or just simply name changes...INS didnt even bother to notice.....while adjudicate my case...and it was approved without any RFE...so in your case u shouldnt have any problem....you can always send RFE response...mentioning your company name change history in employment letter.......they only care about same or similar job you hold or any misleading or missing documents which your lawyer forgot to submit with original 485 application packet!
 
How about name change in LC

Did your employer change names or merge while you were in LC processing?

I am in LC stage and my employer is going for a merger(acquired by another company and probably will no keep the same name). Do I need to restart LC from scratch again?

My company is just planning to change name sometimes next month. No merger or anything.

How about Salary Can we take more Salary than in Labour because we get Raise every year so their is no way to be on same salary.

My company was bought up by another company during LC process and I didnt have problem obtaining LC. As I understand if the job duties remin the same then you shouldnt have problem obtaining GC either. My company went through 2 more mergers and 1 chapter 11 bankrupty which is liquidation mode and worst then chapter 13....i was still manage to approve I-140 and I-485 without any RFE. So i dont think merger or name changes has any problems for GC as long as the job duties r same.
