Hanuman, you are clearly even more frustrated than I
I\'ve seen people in this situation (company name change/
acquisition) fall into any of the following scenarios:
- link their proactive I-140 to their 485 and wait forever
for their I-140 to be approved (e.g. you)
- get approved without any RFE (there have been a couple on
this board in the past week)
- link their proactive I-140 to their 485 and get approved
very quickly (happened to a friend)
- get RFEd (e.g. Mera_Kya_Hoga)
- sit on their butts and wait(e.g. me)
The INS is not an assembly line but a collection of individuals,
I guess it all depends on which individuals you happen to be
dealing with and how lucky you are.
The lawyers are like arms dealers - they make money no matter
who wins
