Company Name change cases with hold released on Jun 19

Cool_bandha I am also frustrated with VSC processing Aug 2000 and holding on to our 99 cases for no apparent reason.....WHAT CAN BE DONE BESIDES PRAYING ?????????????

By the way I feel that a "good" officer will be able to adjucate a case
after it comes back from hold in about 8 days. So we should see
approvals on such cases starting tomorrow/day after tomorrow.

In the meantime we can only pray

and for time pass do a performance review of INS VSC

ND 9/99, PD 9/96. Hold removed and waiting to be assigned to an officer. IIO said it will take 30-60 days.

Company Name change case, 2nd FP notice recd today ( I didn\'t receive it but my attorney got it). My wife didn\'t receive any 2nd FP notice
as of today.

My questions are :-
How long the first FP is valid ? Is it 1 year or 15 months ?.
Why my wife didn\'t get the 2nd FP notice ?.
Is this normal ?

My Details

PD 06/96 ( yes , it is 1996 )
ND 07/99 (I485)
FP 06/00 (first FP, exact date is 06/14/00 for me and my wife)

Amended I140 - RD 04/01 ( I didn\'t receive any RFE for this but we just filed it)

I485_VSC I was under the impression that FP is valid for 15 months
 You can call IIO to find why they want a 2nd set now

I have applied for amnd. I 140(May 2001). Is it a good idea to withdraw the appliaction? Will it hurt the I 140.
