Just spoke with a IIO at VSC. My proactive I-140 was filed in last week of May. IIO said that no action will be taken until guidelines are received from INS HQ.
Do you think this is correct ? Have seen a lot of IGATE approvals after 140 was file.

Don\'t worry. It will definitely help. However, it\'s a good idea to call VSC after you get I-140 receipt to have it linked with your I-485.
