Company name change cases on hold at VSC - PL read

We all need to get some more answers vaildated by INS HQ. We can only get this
info from INS HQ. Each of us individually need to try to call INS HQ to get info
like when will the memo be released, does it have a provision for releasing from hold
name change cases, is it being sent to service centres (I have seen only district offices
mentioned so far).

Remember its upto us to call INS HQ to get this info. I would also like to mention that
all my calls to INS HQ have been unsuccessfull so far (I have not been transferred to the
right person, I was transferred to various places including administration, press office
etc none of whom had the above info).

Also in case if any of us are fortunate enough to get through to the proper person we should
try to post the info on this board.

I tried all possible ways you can think of.

I called VSC.
I called INS HQ. Got a call back.
I faxed to senators and congressmen. Got a letter back from senators.

What I got is basically similar from INS HQ and senators:
INS HQ will have a solution out within 60 days.
What we can do is pretty much WAIT.

I don\'t think there\'s much left we can try.
