Company Issues for CP

CP Gurus,

Help.........

I am awaiting my fee receipt from NVC for my CP, got info from one of my friends that my company was audited by Dept of Labour regarding a complaint filed by an ex employee. Not sure about the issue / outcome of this issue.

My question is will it affect my CP interview? I am worried about this and not sure what to do after waiting for 2 and half years to reach this stage.

Should I consider filing AOS to be safe if something happens?

I am counting on your advice to decide, appreciate your replies.

The fact that your company is under audit by DOL by itself should not
affect your chances with the Consulate. It will mostly be your documentation
like, whether you were paid the agreed H1 salary and such things that will
matter.

Apart from this your company should be willing to support you with the necessary paper work while this audit is going on. Since you are so close
to having your CP interview , in my opinion you should discuss with your
company and proceed with the CP process.
