company is filing bankruptcy after I filed I485

What are the consequences of my GC after company is filing bankruptcy. I485 has been filed 6 months ago. Have EAD ( have been using EAD for 1 month) and AP.
Friends said that there shouldn\'t be a problem as long as I have a job offer from another company.

  Should not be a problem. Just use the 6 month rule and you will be all set. Just ensure you have a job soon. You will not even be out of status if you have an EAD and do not find a job soon.

Does one need to ammend I-140 if jobs are changed with EAD after 6months of I-485 has been filed?

If your company files for chparter 11, they can still pay you and sign the employer letter.

INS doesn\'t care about your company but the job + the sponsorship.
