Company closing after I485 has approved - please suggest

What happens when the company that filed your I485 gets closed after your I485 was approved.
I might get into a situation where my I485 gets approved but my company might close down (with in a couple of months). I have read that its not good to switch companies for atleast 6 months after GC has been approved, but in this case whats the alternative?

Please post your views Gurus.....

-----IF I-485 gets approved before company is closed you dont have any problems becase you did not close the company and you are free to work with any other employer

----- If company closes after I-485 approval then at the time of GC stamping show new company letter(if asked)
** better keep any document or letter from past employer that company is closed on XYZ date for your future records
