i am planning to change my jobs this/next week. WHy did INS keep your case on hold? How did they know your job change? Did u change the jobs before RFE or after RFE for w2 & paystub?
Any info would help. Thanks

In my case my company changed it\'s name after I filed my I-485. I don\'t know how the INS will come to know about any one\'s name change. May be the individual need to inform the INS. I may be wrong.

I did not change the job . I am still with same company. I am not sure why they issued RFE for W2 and paystubs. Probably since I applied I485 in oct 99(like many others). Then they saw company name change on W2 or paystubs and put my case in company chnge bucket. It is just a name change. But 2 of my other friends got same RFE and got approved eventhough company name is changed.
Be sure of what is going on with AC21 before changing jobs. I would suggest if your GC is on hold due to company change and RD id in 99, I would wait. It will be approved very soon.
