Company and Parents Petition

Please share me some informations or advise:
I am on h1 Visa. My company is willing to file a petition for my green card.
We have already applied for DOL certificate for almost a year now. I was told that it will take many years to get the said certificate. My father
is a US Citizen. Would it be better or would it help, if my father will file a petition for me? Is it advisable or appropriate if I will get both my father and my company to file a petion for me?

Always better to file both way. Through your company and through your father also. Nols
