Company and 485 filing

As the dates for all categories have become current, my company is not ready to file I485 for all the employees together who are eligible with reason stated as follows :-

Reason they mention is if they file all these I485 applications together, it may cause issues as INS may question them regarding all these applications being filed at once. I need to know if this is Valid reason ?
 
I don't see this a VALID REASON. INS knows that the dates are current and people are filing there cases and they will be getting huge number of mails every day. Why do they question about filing 10s of I-485s from one employer, since they are the one who put hold on this and now have opened the gates for every one.

I think this is just a kind of excuse or a way to delay the cases.

But the employment letter from company is required, it is a part of I-485 application.

I think before if it is not included, RFE would be issued, but today I think USCIS simply deny application as incomplete.

Then ask HR for an employment verification letter; tell them you're getting a mortgage or something.
