Company Acquired after 140 approval.. what to do?

Because company A changed ownership, I think you can apply I-485 now with company B. But you also need to re-apply a new I-140 later (before their RFE) with company B. My case got approved oct 15. You can see my detail. It should have been approved in June 2001 if I had filed a new I-140 before RFE.
