Come into us with H4 or AP?

My wife has been out of US for sometimes. She plans to come back to US next week and will take up a job offer. Since she only has H4, she will need to activate her EAD (which expires in August 2007).

My questions is, when she comes into US, shall she use her AP or her H4?
FYI, she will only activate her EAD after she enters US.

Thanks.

If she has a Valid H4 Stamping, then I believe it is better to come using H4.

However do consult your lawyer.

She does has a H4 stamp in her passport. All the while, she has been using her H4 to travel. Since she decided to activate her EAD anyway, so I consult my lawyer and he suggested that he can just use her AP to re-enter this time. However, I just would like to hear from others from the forum...:)

Whatever she like, AP or H4 since she is going to use the EAD.

I also in the process of renewing her EAD and AP.
In the EAD renewal form, there are 2 columns that ask the Manner of Last Entry.
As I am doing via efiling, I saw a long list of categories under the pulldown menu.
If she comes in with her AP, which category I should choose?
Is it the DA: Advance Parole (Dist. Authorization)?

Thanks

I have a similar question.
I have valid H4 stamp on my passport and also have valid EAD though spouse's I-485. I am thinking of using EAD to start a business or get a job. In unlikey scenario of 485 rejection, can I get back on H4? My spouse will have valid H1B all along.

If yes, what is the process to get H4 back? Is it easy as going out of USA (say Mexico) and coming back using H4 stamping?

TIA
