Congressman office told my interview date
Thanks to Bob Etheridge's office. I contacted them 3 days ago about not having heard about my interview date. They called me today and told me that my interview was scheduled for March 27th. They said USCIS has not mailed the interview letter yet but they will send it out soon. Needless to say I am relieved and despite the fact that Etheridge's office told me my N400 application was within the processing time and I should not worry, they were nice enough to call USCIS for me to find out. I told them INS in the past has misled me about my green card application and it took me 2 trials to finally get it-5 years
. I also told them I have not seen my fiance in 5 months and that I would like to apply for K1 visa as soon as I get my citizenship. They were very empathic..
