Code 3 Biometrics Notice - the Last hope!? Urgent Please help

Received today Code 3 Biometrics notice scheduled for Oct 1st week.
Looks like lot of old timers have received it today.
Experts plaese help! this will help lot of us who are in the same boat

1. Does it mean Name check is complete?
2. Can we walk in for Biometrics before October?
3. Is there a chance of getting the approval before retrogress, if we do so?

Please help.

Whether you can walk-in early or not depends on the local office policy.
Most places allow for early walk-ins if they are not too busy at that time.
Some offices entertain such people early in the morning & some others do this later in the afternoon.
Post your local office info and maybe someone will have experience at that location.

I would suggest you go and give early biometrics asap and just hope for the best !!
If you are very lucky who knows what can happen !!

Done my early Biometrics this afternoon

Me and my Family has completed our Biometrics this afternoon.(originally scheduled for Oct 1st week).
Just walked in around 2.45PM, No questions asked. Completed the procedure in 20 mins.
Now I amfor the Update on the receipt of the Biometrics by CSC.

I am confused. I remember when I took the FP, they also took a picture of me, and the signature. My FP was done in Apr 2005. So none of you guys have the pictures and the signatures taken when you did the FP?
