Co sponsor requirements! Help

I have a cosponsor that has her own business. She wants to know why the lawyers want a certified accountant letter?? I dont know how to explain it to her. She does all her accounting her self and that is the only thing that we need of her.. is there anyone out there that knows why she needs a certified accountant letter??? So i can better explain to her. Thank you beforehand!!

To increase credibility. Too many people either get things wrong or lie. A CPA has a legal obligation to tell the truth or else lose their certification.

Does the co-sponsor have significant assets? Assets can be used instead of income. That may be easier to prove than her income.

How many people are being sponsored, and is the green card application based on marriage to a US citizen? Those factors will determine how much money is required.
