dengdeng:

I stopped by the congressman's office about 2 or 3 weeks
ago again. They said they would follow up for me.
But the thing is the BCIS asked me to wait for 60 days
and it's only been a month. I have to wait another 30 days
before I can ask the congressman to help again.

Last time when the congressman called the BCIS about
my case, the BCIS said they would assign my case the
following week. Then I have to wait for 60 days.

It means my case was never assigned. But if the BCIS
pigs forgot to assign my case the following week, I'm
just waiting for nothing.

I feel hopeless.

clueless, I would like to find out if security check happened before assign to officer or after.
Can you let me know if you ever have secuirty check problem? and when was it solved.

Security Check

dengdeng:

I didn't pass the security check before my 2nd FP.
After I did my 2nd FP, I called the FBI and talked to a BCIS
office in the local Boston office, it seems like I have everything
ready for approval.

I wanted to make sure that I passed the security check.
Nobody answered my question, but they all said everything
is ready for approval. From this, I believe that I have passed
the security check.

However, as you know, security check is a black box. No one
knows for sure.

Hi dengdeng:

I waited in line very early in the morning so that I got a
chance to talk to an officer at the BCIS Boston office
a while ago.

He checked on his computer about my file status and told
me that everything seemed ok for approval.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
how can local office tell you that? I went to local office and they said they can't tell

clueless, what kind of information he can get from his terminal. I went there, and he said he can't see anything.

Hi dengdeng:

They will be able to get your case info from their computer
terminals. When I was called to a window, the officer got
my case info from his computer near the window.

Because there was incorrect info in the letter the BCIS
sent to me, I asked him to correct it on his computer.
However, he said he didn't see that incorrect info from
his computer - must be a cleric typo.

Also I asked him if I had passed the security check.
He said everything seemed ok for approval. He read a few
lines about when I did my 2nd FP and when the BCIS got
the 2nd FP result. It sounded right.

When I wanted to apply for my EAD there a few months ago,
they said my file was in Vermont instead of the local Boston
office. They couldn't access my file from their computer.
Maybe that was what you refer to?

Hi dengdeng:

Could you please take a look at my new thread
"Petition On Behalf of October Filers" and tell me
what you think?

clueless, what kind of guy you met at the window, a black or a taiwanese. I saw him printed out a long paper. but he didn'[t show me the printout.

The officer I spoke looked like Hispanic. Short with dark hair.
Probably at Window 10 (2nd or 3rd to the right) if I remember
correctly. He was nice and patient.
