Classic Gc Ac21

Hi I have been a veteran in GC process below are my details.

Labor Applied thru "company x" - NJ RIR - 06/1999 APPROVED ON 08/1999
applied I-140/EB2 - 10/1999 , waited till I got RFE in December 2000. RFE is replied , I-140 is denied (because of PROGRAMMER ANALYST title does not qualify for EB2).
The company and lawyer were nice, professional(but dumb). I have copies of every document flowed between INS, COMPANY X, LAWYER.
I left company "x" and joined "y" (my current company).
SAME COMPANY, SAME LAWYER, SAME LABOR approval, applied for fresh I-140 (lawyer doesn't even know I left the company). This time it took only 5 months to get it approved. I even got a copy of this I-140 APPROVAL.

Using that I-140 approval copy and Labor approval copy I myself applied for I-485, in Nebraska service center in August 2003.
I even got 2 EAD's over the time, did finger prints in 05/2004.

Now questions to guru's

1. Can I perfectly make use of AC21? New company "y" is very supportive.
2. If I keep seeing USCIS online status on I-140 , IT SAYS "APPROVED and mailed the approval on 08/2001". So that means the old I-140 is still active and good and not revoked by company "x"?

----- how did YOU apply I-140???? employer X need to sign I-140, please clear the above info

thanks for reply and my explanations

The second I-140 and Labor is applied by COMPANY X , COMPANY X LAWYER FOR THE SAME JOB i HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH THEM.

COMPANY Y DIDN'T DO ANYTHING RELATED my GC process(either new or existing). THEY JUST EXTENDED MY H1, FROM THE TIME i LEFT x.
