As far as my understanding goes, it is the company who receives the I140 approval notice. Is that right?

And if I ever want to use AC21 to change jobs, do I need a copy of I140 approval notice? I do know my case number though.

485 for my spouse is also applied with me as the primary applicant. He is on H1B currently and his labor is pending for more than a year now. He has been on H1 for 5-1/2 years and is planning on renewing his H1-B for the 7th year. Are there any concerns in having a pending derivative 485 petition while petitioning for renewal of 7th year of H1B?

Should the pending 485 petition be mentioned while applying for renewal of H1B?

Any answers would be appreciated.

No worries about renewing the H-1 for your husband, he can do it. I am in asimilar situation and I've renewed my H-1.

Your lawyer receives a copy of the approved 140 and a courtesy copy is sent to the petitioner, which in this case is your employer.

I don't think you need an 140 approval notice to use change jobs.
