clarification please

Everyone,

I live in US and have a green card. My brother's son got student visa and he is coming to Boston University for MS.

I might have to provide financial help like, paying some tuition fee and living expenses for my brother’s son while he is studying. Can I help him financially? or Is it legal?
 
It is certainly fine for you to do so only he should have had to show adequate assets for his program of study in order to obtain an F1 visa. Are you saying that he does not yet have visa stamping and that your assets are needed for him to get the visa?

He already got visa stamping and he shown his father's property and monoey in the bank to support MS study in the US. Can I still help him even he did not shown me as financial supporter when he applied for Visa?
