Clarification on I 485 approval

Hi,

I received my EAD on 12/4. Other dates are:
ND: november 23rd 2001.
Now the letter accompanying EAD says your 485 application has been approved The AVM says the same thing. What does this mean? Lawyer says i dont have to appear for interview now. How long before i get my FP/GC now??
I am very confused about the process from now on. Please help Gurus.

Which category did u file. EB1 or etc...

I am surprised too. My application was in EB3 category though.By the way who or what is IIO and which number should i call up. I was filedat VSC.

But, I think you are entering the EAD\'s Receipt number in the AVM. Try with your 485 receipt number. The covering letter is sent by whom? The lawyer or INS?

As mentioned pls check it is EAD or I-485 notice

IIO is immigration information officer (operator) and the no is 802-527-4913

hi guys,

thanks all of you for your response. I think you all might be right and it may be the EAD EAC # that i am following. I\'ll have to talk to my lawyer about it. Yes the letter came directly from INS and No Sorry to dissapoint you but George Bush is not my relative.\
In any case i would keep you posted.
