claiming unemployment after gc

I got my green card in sept 04 (I was a regular on this newgroup last year).

My wife got laid off from her job. Will her claiming unemployment create issues for us during citizenship or at any point in future?

If I am laid off (could probably happen), will my claiming unemployment create issues for us during citizenship or at any point in future?

We are in California.

when u claim unemployment ur complete employment history
is opened to accumulate cumulative social security
if ur first employer in the us was non-us company then
the accumulations may not be complete as some payments are on receipt
of invoices from the government. opens a file for non-payment periods
if u did not receive checks thruout h1-to-gc process. my previous
company was british and friend claimed unemployment. can check with
him on process
