i have an interview for the citizinship after 10days and i got a civil citation for untaxed tobacco in my store this week , i do not know what i can do?
is it going to affect me or should i hire a lawyer?
From what you explained you should speak to a lawyer right away. It doesn't have to be criminal for the INS to deny your application based on moral turpitude. Don't want do sound too harsh but you were in fact stealing money from the government by commiting tax evasion.
