Civics Test Question

I was just wondering what would be the answer for questions like "what did the Declaration of Independence do?". The answer as per the booklet is
A: announced our independence (from Great Britain)
A: declared our independence (from Great Britain)
A: said that the United States is free (from Great Britain)

Do we have to say all the three statements (answers) or just one is enough?
