From all the postings of the people who have taken the interview successfully, it appears that there are ten questions. I think that I am fairly well prepared for my test on Sept 13th but there are not guarantees around getting all the answers correct. So, I need information on does any one have any idea how many correct answers out of ten is considered PASS for the civics test?

so does the officer ask 10 questions? I was under the impression he/she asks only 2 or 3?
Remember that the officer may administer the test in one of the few ways. Either she/he will -
1.) Print 10 questions and ask you the question so you reply orally
2.) Print and hand over teh questions and you answer while either they continue on with their work or they wait till you finish it.
3.) Any permutations of the above methods.
It is now really upto the officer at that point to determine whether you "pass" or not. While officially that number is 6, an officer may determine that you answered the first three questions (of which the third may be a really tough question) which by themselves demonstrate your knowledge of the subjects well enough. In this case they will stop at three or even two and this happens quite frequently. The same reasoning goes for all methods of interviewing.
So go prepared with all your 100 questions, but dont be surprised if the interviewer stops at 2 or 3 itself in the interest of speeding up the process.
