Civic test questions CD-ROM anyone?

I've heard that application support centers used to distribute it. I went to ASC in Philly last Saturday, but they said they don't do it anymore.

Bobsmyth posted two audio files ripped off this CD-ROM on the forum, but when I've tried to play it in my car, the quality of sound was unbearable. Does anyone have an original CD-ROM? Where did you get it from? Does USCIS still distribute it?

Hmm, does apparent lack of responses mean that nobody is using this CD-ROM in preparation for civic exam?

Sorry, I tossed mine away right after my interview...:D. i got it when i went to do my fingerprints. Maybe if you called the customer service line, they should be able to send you one....

Are you sure the CD rom in your car works properly ? I have used audio CDs for :D

I personnally only used the Audio CD only for my interview. If you would like, we can try ripping it again.

Albertr, I think this is the reason of why they do not distribute the CDs anymore: "September 2 - USCIS will begin administering a new naturalization test on October 1, 2008. USCIS has issued a revised list of civics questions and answers. Applicants and organizations should use the list dated 8/08 when preparing for the new naturalization test." Here is the best way I found preparing for civics test: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/us...nnel=9ff98424f8304110VgnVCM1000004718190aRCRD
BTW, I was getting very annoyed by listening that CD in my car. It's like you are driving and listening to a politician's borring 2 cents. Good luck.

I can play MP3 cd-rom's in my car. Thanks to Bobsmyth for posting link to audio files ripped off that CD-ROM, but unfortunately when I try to play it in my car the audio comes as very distorted to the point of being unbearable.

I'll try to give USCIS a call and see if they can mail me a CD-ROM, I spent more than two hours each day commuting in my car, so listening to CD-ROM version seems like a viable option.

If someone can rip these audio tracks off again with 128Kbit/s or 192Kbit/s quality setting, that would be great!

I haven't used audio cds (and didn't need them) since I am hearing imparied. Sorry but studying materials and internet materials would help. It is easy and helpful.
