I would like to know how long it take to get my citizenship.I apply at newark NJ

My sister applied for citizenship in July 2002 from Newark NJ

FP: Sep 2002

Interview date: August last week 2003

ikazmi, your sister took the oath also on the same day. Is she still waiting for the Oath letter.
 
Not yet. Her interview is scheduled for August. Most probably she will have the oath the same day.

I had my oath same day as my interview

Looks like they have sent Interview letter for people with priority date of July 2002 and have just started sending for people who applied in Aug 2002.
