Hi,

I have a green card for 2 years and 9 months and I am married to a US citizen for 10 months. I am wondering when will I be eligible to apply for US Citizenship. Does my time having GC before marriage count towards 3 years requirement when married to a USC?

Appreciate a response from the esteemed folks here.

Check out the Guide to Naturalization for the definitive answer, but....

It is usually either 5 years from when you got your green card (less 90 days) or 3 years from the time when you were both in posession of a green card and married to a US citizen. (less 90 days). So, no, your GC time before you were married does not count towards the 3 years (it does, of course, count towards the 5 years).

But, the guide lays out all of the rules very clearly.
