Citizenship saga finally coming to an end.

I was pleasantly surprised today to get call from immigration officer (the one who had interviewed me) confirming my approval and oath ceremony for next week. No letter or anything - i have been asked to report to the ceremony directly with my GC/government issued ID.

I have been a silent participant on this forum and i have to say that all of the valuable comments have been extremely useful. This forum has supported me through this ordeal and i wish everyone all the very best.

Here are my details.
Center - TSC
PD - April '07
FP - May '07
Interview - July '07
Passed interview however because of name difference between green card and BC - officer had initiated a name change which in turn somehow triggered another FBI name check.
A total of 3 infopasses did not help. Kept getting same answer that file is stuck in fbi name check.
Called the 800# many times but no help.

Congrats.... wow it was stuck for long time after your interview date.
When you had your first interview did you get a form with the "congratulations!.... " marked to show you passed the interview. if it did I think you could have sued if it had been more than 120 days since interview and still no oath date.
